Following extensive discussions with individual staff members, HTD, the Health Service of Ho Chi Minh City, the University of Natural Sciences Ho Chi Minh City and the University of Medicine, the unit has established a formal training programme for Vietnamese and expatriate clinicians and scientists. The long-term aim of the training scheme is to create a pool of well-trained and motivated individuals who will make a significant contribution to Vietnamese and international clinical science. The programme covers undergraduate B.Sc. projects, M.Sc. and Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scientists. The unit offers joint sponsorship in cooperation with the University of Natural Sciences, HCMC.
