Oxford University Clinical Research Unit Viet Nam is a leading centre of biomedical research ( Dedicated to research excellence, the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit Viet Nam has a commitment to promote its research findings internationally and locally in Vietnam. OUCRU has a dedicated team responsible for promoting the image and science of OUCRU in Vietnam, and designing and implementing public engagement activities involving our researchers, scientists from other institutes, doctors, nurses, patients in governmental hospitals and also with farmers and school children across the country. The OUCRU Public Engagement team works to strength research partnerships by bringing communities and scientists together.


Through the Health Care Worker engagement, the OUCRU Public Engagement team aims to support local government organizations involved in health care, to develop the communication capacity of HCWs to enable them to excel in their work and effec- tively help patients or communities.

Job summary and Key responsibilities and tasks


  • Collaborate with writers to collect and develop new articles
  • Choose an appropriate featured picture for the articles
  • Insert additional pictures to visually present points of the article
  • Able to translate article between Vietnamese and English
  • Create appropriate website content aligned to the unit’s strategy.

Other Requirements


  • Having knowledge about HTML and CSS language is an advantage
  • Having knowledge about Google Search Algorithm is an advantage
  • Having knowledge about writing Vietnamese and English article is an advantage
  • Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.

Selection criteria


  • Have evidence of excellent writing skills;
  • Have experience in web platforms and webpage designs.
  • Have experience in a health-related field – highly desirable
