About
Dr Ho Dang Trung Nghia is the Head of Department of Infectious Diseases, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine in Ho Chi Minh City. He has worked as a research physician involved in many clinical trials related to severe malaria, bacterial meningitis, tuberculous meningitis and cryptococcal meningitis at OUCRU/Hospital for Tropical Diseases since 1998. He finished his PhD on epidemiology of human Streptococcus suis infection in Viet Nam at the Open University, UK in 2011. He has been also a member of the Institutional Review Board of the Hospital for Tropical Diseases since 2012.
