In Vietn<sup><\/sup>am, we are hosted by the Hospital of Tropical Diseases (HTD) in Ho Chi Minh City, and the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases (NH<sup><\/sup>TD) in Hanoi. OUCRU Nepal closely collaborates with the National Academy of Medical Sciences in Kathmandu, and OUCRU Indonesia exists in partnership with the University of Indonesia. As a Wellcome Trust Africa Asia Programme, we have received considerable support from the Wellcome Trust since our establishment in 1991.<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"p-rc_9c80046eb049ee0d-50\">OUCRU\u2019s vision is to have loca<sup><\/sup>l, regional and global impact on health by leading a locally driven research programme on infectious<sup><\/sup> diseases in Southeast Asia. Priority is given to health issues important to the hospitals where we work, and to the countries as a whole where we operate: Vietnam, Indonesia and Nepal. All work is intended not only to benefit the patients seen daily<sup><\/sup> at our host hospitals, but also to help improve patient care.<sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please see more information on OUCRU website: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oucru.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.oucru.org<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Summary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As a Public Health Officer, you&#8217;ll be responsible for coordinating and supporting the local implementation of a public health project, working closely with district-level stakeholders and working groups to ensure timely execution and providing regular updates to the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities and Tasks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure data quality through validation rules, supervision of data entry, periodic data quality audits, and feedback to facilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use digital data to identify priority problems (for example, low coverage areas, outbreak signals, or service gaps) and help design targeted interventions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan and oversee implementation of field interventions (campaigns, outreach, health education, follow-up of high-risk groups), making sure they are documented and linked to the data system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organize, create training materials and support trainings for health workers on using the digital system and on interpreting data for decision-making.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate coordination meetings and working groups with government, partners, NGOs, and communities so that digitalization and interventions are aligned with SPHERES purpose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor overall progress, identify bottlenecks early, and propose corrective actions to keep the project on track.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training, monitor and evaluating Sahabat Sehat for doing household surveys, posyandu, and other field activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carrying out other tasks assigned by the supervisor or team lead.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Selection Criteria<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master&#8217;s in Public Health, Health Policy, Statistics, Social Sciences, or related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Field experience in primary healthcare systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working with health programs (KIA, Gizi, TB, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with public health, information systems (e.g. SIKDA, DHIS2).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication and coordination skills with Puskesmas and Dinas Kesehatan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience in Monitoring &amp;
