In Vietn<sup><\/sup>am, we are hosted by the Hospital of Tropical Diseases (HTD) in Ho Chi Minh City, and the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases (NH<sup><\/sup>TD) in Hanoi. OUCRU Nepal closely collaborates with the National Academy of Medical Sciences in Kathmandu, and OUCRU Indonesia exists in partnership with the University of Indonesia. As a Wellcome Trust Africa Asia Programme, we have received considerable support from the Wellcome Trust since our establishment in 1991.<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"p-rc_9c80046eb049ee0d-50\">OUCRU\u2019s vision is to have loca<sup><\/sup>l, regional and global impact on health by leading a locally driven research programme on infectious<sup><\/sup>&nbsp;diseases in Southeast Asia. Priority is given to health issues important to the hospitals where we work, and to the countries as a whole where we operate: Vietnam, Indonesia and Nepal. All work is intended not only to benefit the patients seen daily<sup><\/sup>&nbsp;at our host hospitals, but also to help improve patient care.<sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please see more information backgrounds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic digital literacy for data entry (tablet, smartphone, web-based forms)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Careful, ethical, and respectful approach to patient interaction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to work collaboratively with Puskesmas clinical and administrative staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job descriptions:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Obtain informed consent from all eligible Puskesmas visitors in accordance with approved ethical and operational protocols<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide clear explanations to patients regarding:<ul><li>The purpose of informed consent<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>How data will be used and protected<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Patients\u2019 rights to refuse participation or withdraw consent at any time<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure all informed consent documentation is fully completed, accurate, and properly recorded<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct standardized patient screening to assess whether patients have:<ul><li>Received all required services during their visit<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Missed any recommended clinical, preventive, or follow-up care<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify and document care gaps, including missed services, delayed follow-ups, or unmet referrals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with health workers to:<ul><li>Inform them of identified care gaps<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support immediate action or scheduled follow-up when feasible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that all required data\u2014including data generated from legacy or existing applications used by the Puskesmas\u2014are reviewed, compiled, and uploaded into the designated monitoring system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify completeness, consistency, and basic data quality prior to upload<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure all collected and relevant data are uploaded within 24 hours of the patient visit or data generation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Record consent status, care gap findings, and follow-up actions into the designated digital system or dashboard in a timely manner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain strict patient privacy and comply with ethical standards and data protection regulations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to continuous quality improvement by providing regular summaries on informed consent coverage, data timeliness, and care gap trends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">KPI:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Informed consent coverage rate among eligible Puskesmas visitors (target: 100%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completeness and accuracy of informed consent documentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proportion of patients successfully screened for care gaps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number and percentage of identified care gaps appropriately documented<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Percentage of required data (including legacy application data) uploaded within 24 hours<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Timeliness and completeness of data uploads into the monitoring system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zero incidents of confidentiality breaches or ethical violations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Positive feedback from patients and Puskesmas clinical and administrative
