{"id":35990,"date":"2023-12-10T04:49:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-09T21:49:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.oucru.org\/?p=35990"},"modified":"2024-01-22T12:25:40","modified_gmt":"2024-01-22T05:25:40","slug":"2023-3mt-mosc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oucru.org\/id\/2023-3mt-mosc\/","title":{"rendered":"2023 Three-Minute Thesis and MORU-OUCRU Student Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Three-Minute Thesis (3MT)<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The MORU-OUCRU Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) is an annual competition organised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tropmedres.ac\/\">Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU)<\/a> and Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU) to enhance the academic, presentation and research communication skills of PhD students.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants are challenged to explain their research in a concise three-minute presentation, tailored for a non-specialist audience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition consists of three qualifying rounds, and the shortlisted participants advance to the Grand Final 3MT Competition. This year, the Grand Final took place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and was attended by a live audience.
