Priya is a dedicated research nurse at the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit Nepal, where she brings together her clinical expertise and passion for public health to combat infectious diseases like dengue in Kathmandu.
Her journey began in the high-pressure environment of the ICU at Manmohan Memorial and Chitwan Medical College, Kathmandu Nepal where she witnessed the resilience of patients and the urgent need for innovative health solutions. These experiences laid the foundation for her belief that nursing is more than a profession — it’s a commitment to listen, care, and advocate.
A graduate of Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences, Priya now applies her bedside experience to the world of research. At OUCRU Nepal, she works at the intersection of clinical care and scientific inquiry, transforming patient stories into data that can shape health policies and improve lives.
Priya’s work is rooted in empathy, ethics, and evidence. Whether she’s coordinating clinical trials, engaging with communities, or collecting vital data, she ensures that every step of the research process honors the dignity and voice of the patient.
