Dr Ho Dang Trung Nghia, MD PhD, is the Head of Department of Infectious Diseases, at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine in Ho Chi Minh City and Head of the Viet-Anh Ward, Hospital for Tropical Diseases. He has worked as a research physician involved in many clinical trials related to severe malaria, bacterial meningitis, tuberculous meningitis and cryptococcal meningitis at OUCRU and the Hospital for Tropical Diseases since 1998.
He has also been a member of the Institutional Review Board of the Hospital for Tropical Diseases since 2012.
