Durga Bishra is a Research Nurse at OUCRU Nepal. She has over seven years of experience in intensive care, hemodialysis, and rehabilitation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nepal Medical College, affiliated with Kathmandu University, and has completed advanced hemodialysis training at the National Kidney Center. Her clinical background includes working in high-pressure environments like the ICU at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, where she developed strong skills in patient assessment, emergency care, and critical care management. Now focused on public health research, Durga is involved in the ACT–South Asia project and is dedicated to addressing infectious diseases such as antimicrobial resistance, enteric fever, and dengue. She believes in the power of ethical, evidence-based research to improve healthcare outcomes in Nepal and is committed to bridging bedside care with scientific discovery to help shape a healthier future for communities
