Hong holds a degree from Hanoi University of Pharmacy and brings over five years of experience in health research coordination. Prior to joining OUCRU, Hong worked as a project coordinator for Health Technology Assessment initiatives in Vietnam, collaborating closely with both international and local experts.
At OUCRU, Hong currently leads key policy engagement initiatives such as the Infectious Diseases Research and Policy Discussion Forum (IDDF), manages the Policy Engagement database, and supports researchers in integrating policy engagement into their projects.
She also plays a central role in GARP Vietnam’s efforts to highlight the role of vaccines in mitigating antimicrobial resistance, contributing to the development of a policy brief and leading stakeholder engagement through a webinar and a face-to-face workshop.
