She holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Hanoi University of Pharmacy and has more than six years of experience in health research coordination. Before joining OUCRU, Hong coordinated Health Technology Assessment (HTA) projects, working closely with national and international experts to generate evidence and support evidence-informed healthcare decision-making.
At OUCRU, Hong coordinates a range of policy engagement initiatives that support relationship building and strengthen the translation of research into policy and practice. She leads the organisation of the Infectious Diseases Research and Policy Discussion Forum (IDDF), manages the Policy Engagement database, and supports researchers in integrating policy engagement throughout the research lifecycle.
As part of GARP Vietnam, Hong coordinates activities that promote the role of vaccines in mitigating antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Her work includes contributing to the development of a policy brief and engaging policy stakeholders and researchers through webinars and stakeholder workshops.
