Her research focuses on viral & bacterial pathogens causing infectious diseases to understand the pathogen & antibiotic resistant mechanism. She contributed to several studies of infectious diseases from 2007 until now, including studies on Influenza virus, Dengue virus, bacterial infections in the central nervous system; study of Community-Acquired Pneumoniae (bacterial & viral infections); Community-acquired Sepsis and Severe Sepsis in Southeast Asia; SARS-CoV-2, studies on AMR in bacterial infections.
