Manij Joshi

Clinical Pharmacist

Manij serves as a trial pharmacist on the multi-country, double-blinded, randomized controlled trial ACT South Asia at OUCRU.

His research interests include infectious diseases, antimicrobial use and resistance, antihypertensive drugs, and oral hypoglycemic drugs.

In addition to his role as a trial pharmacist, Manij works as a QA officer in a cohort study that follows a randomized controlled trial. The study is titled ‘Assessing the medium-term impact of a Vi-polysaccharide conjugate vaccine in preventing typhoid infections among Nepali children.”

Furthermore, Manij also worked as a vaccine logistics officer in a double-blinded randomized controlled trial of the Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine (TCV) from December 19, 2019, to March 31, 2022. The study is titled ‘Assessing the impact of Vi-polysaccharide conjugate vaccine in preventing typhoid infections among Nepali children – a phase III trial.’
