Dr. Suchita Shrestha serves as the Head of the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) at the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit Nepal. She brings over nine years of extensive experience in the management and coordination of clinical trials, with a focus on infectious diseases, including typhoid, influenza, COVID-19, community-acquired pneumonia (CAP), and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).

With extensive experience in overseeing complex research studies, Dr. Shrestha plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, adherence to ethical standards, and the generation of high-quality clinical data. Her expertise includes study planning, implementation, coordination, and cross-functional team leadership.

Through her work, Dr. Shrestha contributes to the advancement of high-quality clinical research and the strengthening of the organization’s capacity to conduct scientifically rigorous and globally relevant trials.
