| Key responsibilities and tasks | Assessment of the patients in outpatient clinics- take proper history, perform clinical examinations, evaluate medical reports, prescribe medications, referral to other departments, if necessary. Provide information to the patients regarding ongoing studies, obtain informed consent, enroll eligible participants, and ensure appropriate follow-up. Strictly adhere to protocols of ongoing studies. Document patient details in Clinical Record Forms (CRF) and/or eCRFs for study enrollees. Assist and supervise research nurses and community medical auxiliaries (CMA) in sample collection and provide guidance as required. Communicate weekly with the OUCRU Nepal study team to share updates and discuss issues or challenges. Coordinate with the Supervisor/Project Manager if needed to discuss any dilemmas on clinical conditions or enrollment related queries. Provide oversight to all ongoing studies at the designated hospitals. Coordinate between the OUCRU Nepal administrative team and site administrative teams to ensure effective communication and operations. Organize and coordinate monthly meetings at designated hospitals, ensure smooth workflow and operational alignment, and prepare and maintain meeting minutes. Participate in public engagement activities in collaboration with the Public Engagement (PE) team. |
| Requirements | Essential: MBBS with NMC registration. At least 1 year of work experience. Proficient in English. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Desirable Experience in clinical research. Proven ability in coordinating with the relevant stakeholders. |
