Oxford University Clinical Research Unit in Indonesia (OUCRU Indonesia) also known as Yayasan Jalin Kemitraan Nusantara (YJKN), comprises three research groups and five supporting groups, with a staff of about 120 national staff, including 4 expatriate Oxford staff, located at the Jakarta office and study sites. In addition to our main host institutions above, we also collaborate closely with the broader Oxford Tropical Network, and numerous other international and local partners.
OUCRU Indonesia is currently seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. We are recruiting for the following Lombok Barat-based position: Sustainable Scaling Teams – IT Officer.
The SST-IT officer will help to design and build automation-driven digital systems for a large-scale public health program. The core of this role is to support building reliable automation, data converters, and interoperable pipelines that connect field data, routine health systems, and program dashboards. This role sits at the intersection of technology, data, and field operations, ensuring that digital systems actually work for health workers and decision-makers.

| Job description | Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and build automation workflows to reduce manual reporting and data handling 2. Develop data converters and scripts to standardize, clean, validate, and aggregate datasets for analysis and dashboards 3. Automate data synchronization, reporting, quality checks, and alerts 4. Support integration between data collection platforms (e.g., ODK, KoBo, CommCare, REDCap), health databases, and interoperable ecosystems (FHIR, SATUSEHAT) 5. Ensure data integrity, version control, traceability, and interoperability with government or partner systems 6. Assist in maintaining and monitoring Linux-based cloud infrastructure and server environments 7. Support CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based application containerization, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices 8.
