Khang completed his MSc in Microbiology at the University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, where his curiosity for the microbial world – particularly the ways microorganisms drive and shape disease – first took root. This foundation led him to focus on pathogenic microorganisms, with a keen interest in their biology and clinical relevance in the context of the growing antimicrobial resistance crisis. Looking ahead, he aims to deepen his expertise in microbial genomics and epidemiology to better understand resistance mechanisms and contribute to evidence-based strategies for infectious disease control.
