Chintya is an epidemiologist with five years of experience in health research and program implementation. She is trained in clinical research methods and epidemiological data analytics.

Chintya P. Erlianti holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology from the University of Washington, along with a Graduate Certificate in International Humanitarian Response. In 2020, she earned a B.Sc. in Public Health, with a focus on Biostatistics, from the University of Indonesia.

Before pursuing her MPH, Chintya gained three years of experience in health research and program implementation in Indonesia. She worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) Country Office for Indonesia, supporting the Health Emergencies Programme in responses to COVID-19, the polio outbreak, and other Public Health Emergencies of International Concern (PHEICs). During her graduate training, she served as a Graduate Student Researcher with UW Medicine’s Chu Lab (Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases), where her thesis examined viral codetection in a large U.S. community cohort. Her research interests include the epidemiology of emerging infectious diseases, vaccine-preventable diseases, and strategies for pandemic preparedness and response.
