Jeeya Deuja

Research Nurse

Jeeya Deuja is a Research Nurse at OUCRU Nepal who supports the implementation of clinical research studies, ensuring participant safety, data quality, and compliance with research protocols and ethical standards.

Jeeya’s  responsibilities include managing study activities, participant follow-up, maintaining research documentation, and ensuring compliance with study protocols and ethical requirements. She is committed to promoting participant safety, maintaining data quality, and contributing to research that advances evidence-based healthcare.

Ms. Deuja began her nursing career after completing her Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) in Nursing and worked as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse at B&B Hospital, where she gained valuable experience in patient care and clinical practice. She later pursued a Bachelor in Nursing Sciences at Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences and completed a clinical internship in critical care at Dhulikhel Hospital. With a growing interest in research and evidence-based healthcare, she transitioned into clinical research and now contributes to the generation of high-quality evidence to improve healthcare and patient outcomes while upholding the highest ethical standards in research.
