Research Nurse

Seema Kumari Chaudhary is a Research Nurse at OUCRU Nepal with experience in critical care nursing and clinical research. Her interests include patient safety, infection prevention, evidence-based nursing practice, and improving healthcare outcomes through research.

Seema Kumari Chaudhary is a registered nurse and Research Nurse with a Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) in Nursing from the Nepal Institute of Medical Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNS) from Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences. She has clinical experience in critical care nursing, having worked in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Nepal Mediciti Hospital, where she managed critically ill patients and developed expertise in patient safety, critical care management, and infection prevention.

Her academic and research interests focus on evidence-based nursing practice and improving patient outcomes through research. As part of her BNS degree, she conducted a research thesis on nurses’ knowledge of medical device-related pressure injuries in tertiary-level hospitals and presented her findings at the 4th International Nursing and Midwifery Conference, KUSMS. She has also received training in Basic Life Support (BLS), Infection Prevention and Control, and stroke nursing care. Through her clinical and research experience, she remains committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and contributing to research that advances healthcare practice.
