We are delighted to share that Saraswati Budhathoki, Coordination Lead at OUCRU Nepal, has been selected for the ISARIC Leadership Programme for Scientists (ILPS) 2026–2027.
Saraswati serves as the Coordination Lead within the Clinical Research Management and Governance Group (CRMG) at OUCRU Nepal, where she oversees a diverse portfolio of clinical trials. Through close collaboration with governmental and non-governmental partners in Nepal and internationally, she supports the successful delivery of high-quality research while maintaining the highest ethical, regulatory, and quality standards. Her work contributes to strengthening evidence-based practice and improving health outcomes.
The ISARIC Leadership Programme for Scientists (ILPS)is an international leadership development programme designed for researchers from Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). The programme aims to strengthen leadership, strategic thinking, collaboration, and research career development, empowering scientists to become effective research leaders and drive positive change within their institutions, communities, and scientific fields.
Saraswati’s selection is a wonderful recognition of her dedication to research coordination and capacity strengthening. Through this programme, she will join a diverse network of emerging research leaders from across the globe, further enhancing her skills and contributing to the advancement of high-quality research in Nepal and beyond.
