Durga Sapkota is a research nurse with a diverse set of interests and expertise. She is particularly interested in the ongoing study of the typhoid vaccine and the long-term effectiveness of the typhoid conjugate vaccine. She is also interested in research related to infectious diseases, mental health, and the ageing brain/process.

Durga Sapkota has attended several pieces of training, including ACLS and BLS training, which has equipped her with the necessary skills to respond to emergency situations. She has also completed online training in infection prevention and control, which is a critical component of research related to infectious diseases.

Durga Sapkota has worked as a Senior Staff Nurse at Norvic International Hospital, an ISO-certified hospital, and Bir Hospital. She has also worked as a Tutor at Asian College for Advanced Studies, where she shared her knowledge and expertise with the next generation of healthcare professionals.
