In her current research project, she is analysing multiple Gram-negative bacterial genomes using different bioinformatics tools to identify the antimicrobial resistance determinants and investigate the transmission dynamics and the ecology of plasmid-carried antibiotic resistance in Vietnam, Nepal, Cambodia and Bangladesh. Her work involves comparative genomics, pathogen genomics, phylogenetics, One Health, Next Generation Sequencing, and basic molecular and microbiology skills.
