She has been with OUCRU since 2000, and has worked on studies in Malaria, Tuberculous meningitis and Dengue.
She was a laboratory coordinator of a multicentre study in eight countries: the International Consortium on Dengue Risk Assessment, Management, and Surveillance project before working in the Clinical Research Management and Governance Groups.

Obtained her PhD from the Open University, UK, investigating the diagnosis and prognosis of severe dengue, supervised by Prof. Cameron Simmons.
