Vy joined OUCRU as a social scientist for RESHAPE project, which aims to engage with local senior stakeholders (LEAF study) and young generations of Vietnamese society (SEED study) to explore their perceptions on clinical research and public health aspects with a focus on prospective Dengue Controlled Human Infection Model.

She works with the project team to develop and implement qualitative research activities, particularly focus group discussions, in-depth interviews, and surveys, as well as data analysis and reports in later stages.

Vy joins OUCRU to further her interests in socio-political determinants of health and employ ethnographic methods to promote understanding of socio-cultural aspects of healthcare for the underserved population. Recently, she moved on to work with the SPEAR project, where she will be reviewing data on the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine in Vietnam.
