Surendra Shrestha

Community Medical Assistant

Surendra Shrestha volunteered at a health camp organized in partnership with the Neal Christian Medical Dental Association and Uplift Program of Human Development and Community Services Ayodhyapuri, Chitwan, before joining OUCRU. Additionally, He worked as a Field Supervisor in the STRATAA Project at NFDF (Nepal Family Development Foundation).

In addition to his previous experiences, Surendra Shrestha has also participated in various conferences and training programs. He participated in the Snake Bugs and Altitude conference organized by Prof Andrew Pollard from the Department of Paediatrics at Oxford University. He also attended a one-day training for district-level local health workers on pandemic influenza preparedness organized by the Nepal Red Cross Society. Furthermore, he participated in the Research Ethics & Good Clinical Practice Course conferences organized by the Wellcome Trust and Oxford University.
