OUCRU warmly congratulates Dr Marc Choisy, Head of the Mathematical Modelling group, on his successful application for recognition of academic distinction and the award of the title of Associate Professor from the University of Oxford’s Medical Sciences Division.
Assoc Prof Marc Choisy has made a longstanding and valued contribution to OUCRU’s research mission through his leadership in mathematical modelling, his collaborative scientific work, and his dedicated mentorship of students and colleagues. This recognition is a fitting acknowledgement of his commitment, expertise, and impact across the research community.
He shared: “It is a recognition that should be shared with all the amazing collaborators and students I got the privilege to work with in Vietnam, Indonesia and Nepal over the past 14 years. And it is a strong encouragement for even more fruitful research collaborations in the future!”
