Baim is a communications professional with about ten years of experience in nonprofits and development programmes. Most of his work has been in the environmental sector, including roles with WWF Indonesia, USAID LESTARI, USAID IUWASH PLUS, and Greenpeace Indonesia. He has managed content production, written stories and reports, produced documentaries, organised public events, and worked with youth and community groups to support outreach and campaigns. His work with EU-UNDP and other USAID projects strengthened his skills in producing communication materials that meet international standards.
More recently, he has moved into the health research sector. As Senior Communications and Policy Officer at OUCRU Indonesia, he manages institutional communications, media relations, digital platforms, and the tracking of policy engagement activities. His background in social science research helps him explain complex issues in clear and accessible language for the public, policymakers, and the media.
