TS.BS Trần Thị Hồng Châu là bác sĩ nghiên cứu.

Bà đã tham gia vào nhiều thử nghiệm lâm sàng liên quan đến bệnh sốt rét nặng, nhiễm trùng hệ thần kinh trung ương (viêm não do vi rút, viêm màng não do vi khuẩn, viêm màng não do lao, viêm màng não tăng bạch cầu ái toan và viêm màng não do cryptococcus) trong hơn 20 năm qua tại Bệnh viện Bệnh nhiệt đới và OUCRU.

Nghiên cứu gần đây của bà tập trung vào nhiễm trùng đường ruột.
