Zamzam Djaelani, MD., MBA

Implementation Lead

15+ years combined experience in management consulting, private equity, and healthcare ecosystem (telemedicine, inventory-order management, primary care, hospital, health insurance, occupational health, government/public sector, research, infrastructure, public private partnership, pharmaceutical, diagnostic medical device/pharma distribution start-up).

Zamzam currently works as the Implementation Lead for the SPHERES project, responsible for coordinating research projects to ensure they meet their objectives according to the established timeline.

Before joining OUCRU, Zamzam worked on clinic network expansion (greenfield and brownfield projects) as PMO Director at GWS Era Medika. Prior to that, he served as Chief Medical Officer for Indonesia at Milvik Bima, overseeing medical management, quality assurance, mHealth partnerships (with labs, insurers, and pharmacies), subscription payment collection, and priority projects. During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, he led a team collaborating with the Ministry of Health.

He previously headed the Cardiovascular Project for THE Asia Healthcare Partners Pte Ltd (a private equity firm) and was responsible for business development and healthcare/pharmaceutical client services at Deloitte Indonesia. Zamzam has contributed to improving maternal and newborn care standards in primary healthcare facilities and hospitals. He has also led CSR programs and public health risk management initiatives, serving 25% of the population in West Sumbawa Regency. Alongside his work in developing health systems, services, and businesses, he enjoys various outdoor activities.
