Prior to joining OUCRU, she was involved with the Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. She has also participated in training related to Helping Babies Breathe and The Golden Minute.
Rusha has conducted research on the topic of “A study on Knowledge Regarding Home Management of Chemotherapy-Related Side Effects Among Cancer Patients In Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, Dudhpati, Bhaktapur” and presented a research paper at the SAARC Federation of Oncologists International Cancer Conference (SFOICC 2019).
