Hang is involved in several mixed-methods studies and participatory action research projects to explore the emergence of antibiotic resistance, as well as COVID-19 impacts and vaccinations in Vietnam.

She is taking part in survey design and management, data collection, planning, and implementation of community-based research. Her interest focuses on climate crisis and health inequalities within populations, the scale and impact of climate-sensitive health risks to current antibiotic use behaviours in rural areas.
