Sapna Sunar

Research Medical Officer

Sapna Sunar is a medical professional who graduated with an MBBS degree and is currently working as a medical officer at OUCU Nepal.

Prior to joining OUCRU, she completed one year of service at MMTH (Manmohan Memorial Medical College & Teaching Hospital).

Sapna’s research interests lie in the areas of Typhoid Fever, Antimicrobial resistance, Mental Health, Infectious Diseases, and Chronic diseases. She is currently working under the Innovative New Diagnostics Project (FIND), ACT South Asia (The Azithromycin and Cefixime Treatment of Typhoid in South Asia Trial), a Clinically-Oriented Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance Network- Phase 2 (ACORN-2).
