Engagement to Support Typhoid Research

Typhoid fever, caused by Salmonella enterica serovar Typhi (S.Typhi) is a major cause of febrile illness. Annually, an estimated 12 million infections and over 128,000 deaths are attributed to the disease globally. It is a public health problem in Nepal.
