Clinical trials are at the heart of OUCRU’s research, conducted in our partner hospitals and community settings. Healthcare workers are often the main point of contact for patients and others participating in these trials. We engage with healthcare workers and their managers to strengthen their capacity to communicate with research participants and their families. We have also conducted research to better understand and support the mental health of these key partners.
In hospitals, we have also developed programmes for patients and their families, as part of a wider aim of helping our partner hospitals develop platforms and resources to support patients.
